The Australian is currently a free agent having left NEC Nijmegen at the end of his short spell with the Dutch club.

He is back training with Liverpool in a bid to keep up his fitness ahead of a potential move and now it seems as though a return to Holland is on the cards.

According to De Telegraaf, Feyenoord are ready to make Jones an offer and the 34-year-old is keen to sign for the Rotterdam club.

Feyenoord are in the hunt for a new keeper after Kenneth Vermeer ruptured his Achilles tendon - and they reckon Jones could be the perfect fit.

The former Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday and Derby man spent most of his days at Liverpool as back-up and managed just 11 Premier League appearances for the club following his 2010 arrival.-- Camisetas De Futbol
